Journey with us
A Mediterranean pilgrimage to some of the earliest-known holy places.
Dear Fellow Pilgrims…
We are often raised by the words…”follow in the footsteps of our Lord.” Well, St. Paul saw those footsteps as BOTH physical and spiritual. We are leading a Pilgrimage where the names Athens-Phillipi-Delphi-Ephesus-Rhodes-Corinth-Thessaloniki-Patmos and more, will allow you to make your own footsteps in the physical and spiritual Pilgrimage to a land and area that is the most pivotal in the early growth of our Church.
When we read of the role that Ancient Greece and today’s Turkey, played in our salvation history, we are brought to our knees in the weight of these blessings. But, this Pilgrimage will also allow you to walk, taste, smell and experience one of the greatest of all ancient civilizations…GREECE.
As you review the itinerary you will travel through hundreds of centuries of history that molded the modern world in nearly every feasible category. Having traveled much of this world we can declare that few areas on this planet can match the natural beauty, spectacular archeology and significant historical edifices infused with the first aspects of the early Church, as it moved beyond the boundaries of
Israel. Greece allowed St. Paul to bring the Gentile world to the Lord by his lips and the strength of his indomitable will.
We will also sail aboard a beautiful ship to visit restored ancient cities, including Ephesus, where St. Paul spent over 2 years teaching the people about Jesus the Christ. We can state unequivocally that the entire trip is worth just seeing and experiencing this city of immense Biblical history. In this hallowed place you will lay your eyes upon Mother Mary’s last earthly home, just around the area of where St. John is believed to be buried. The islands of Patmos, Crete and Santorini, amongst others, await your gaze.
We will enjoy the Greek culture and cuisine as the Acts of the Apostles and letters from St. Paul are seen in HD (High Definition) in our minds and hearts. We are blest to have our own Missions of St. Paul, Pastor and Priest, Fr. Camillus Ogaraku, MSP…who will bring his expertise of St. Paul to us in ways we never imagined. And our Pilgrimage Veteran, Deacon James Carabajal, KCHS, makes all we see and experience a spiritual joy.
Finally, the words “trip of a lifetime” are often used but seldom achieved…this Pilgrimage, along with your Spiritual energy, will meet and exceed each word of that phrase…
