Holy Week 2024
Stations of the Cross & Musical Performance of The Passion
Dear Knights and Dames,
We are delighted to invite you to experience a special reflection by Deacon Ryan and video presentation: “The Passion of Our Lord” as composed by Randall DeBruyn. This presentation beautifully brings to life Chapters 18 and 19 of the Gospel of St. John through music. We recommend you open your Bible and follow along as the words of our Lord’s passion are sung.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Msgr. David Sork, Pastor; Grant Hungerford, Music Director; and the talented choir at St. John Fisher Parish in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Their dedication and talent have allowed us to share with you this prayerful and reverent performance of DeBruyn’s masterpiece.
Preceding the video presentation will be a reflection titled “Stations of the Cross, Stations of Love,” by Deacon Ryan Adams. This moving piece invites us to walk alongside Christ through His Passion, seeing His love for us through His suffering on His journey to the Cross. It reminds us of the immense love that Christ has for each of us, a love so profound that it led Him to the ultimate sacrifice.
Let us take this opportunity, on the last Saturday before the beginning of Holy Week, to meditate on the Passion of our Lord. May this reflection enrich your Lenten journey, strengthen your faith, and inspire a deeper love for Our Lord.
Please click HERE for the reflection. At the end of the reflection, you will find the link to take you to the musical video presentation of the Passion of Our Lord.
May this Lenten season bring you closer to the heart of Christ, and may His peace and love be with you all always.
Our Lady Queen of Palestine, pray for us.
Yours in Christ,
The Spirituality Committee
