H.E. Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, arrived in Zarqa on Saturday, May 25, on a pastoral visit to the Church of St. Pius X.
Upon arrival, Archbishop Pizzaballa presided the Holy Mass, which was concelebrated by parish priest Fr. Azzam Jasir; Fr. Iyad Bader, parish priest of the Latin Church of Apostles in the northern Zarqa; Fr. Ibrahim Shomali, Chancellor of the Latin Patriarchate and Fr. Joseph Sweiss, Personal Secretary of the Apostolic Administrator. In attendance were Dominican and Rosary Sisters in addition to a large number of people.
